The following instructions are for a debian (Ubuntu) machine that you may find helpful. The basic idea is to give you a tar ball of the vpn client (that is not platform specific like the one here) and explain how to set it up to use a modified .pcf file different from the one given here.

Now when I select it, it doesn't connect. Nothing happens. I am not able to connect to VPN at all. I tried using kvpnc as well but it didn't work either. Any suggestions on this will be helpful.
