The tutorials look very detailed and documented. Using them or slight variances should get you what you want. I use DD-WRT myself and it has been a great router for me. No internet with WAN IP : DDWRT my DD-WRT is running DHCP and the modem has been put into bridge mode. The DDWRT has my WAN IP, however, I'm not able to connect to the internet. I've set my Gateway at 192.168.0.1, and my 'WAN connection type' is Automatic COnfig - DHCP. The connection between the modem and DDWRT is done through the WAN port.
