My Router: Linksys WAG200G Annex-A; Firmware Version: 1.01.05 . I am not a techie and require assistance (a guiding hand) with a number of security issues in relation to router configuration. My daughter bought this router for me as a birthday present. When checking for Firmware update (version info) I came across this: Linksys - WAG120N. Ip Address: 192.168.1.1. Login: admin. Login to the router with the default IP addresse 192.168.1.1 and then use the username Linksys WAG200G default address 192.168.1.1 default username : admin default password : admin To check the ip, load the command prompt (start - run - type "cmd") at the prompt, type "ipconfig" next to the adapter you use, there should be a "default gateway" address = if default, and all is working, this should be 192.168.1.1 Hello, I have the same problem with the linksys WRT54GR. I enter the password admin and leave the username blank (or tried with admin as username, too), and I can't enter. I used the setup wizard which is on the cd, with the same result: wrong password. I allready have a linksys wag200g installed in No worries, then, because apparently the WAG200G is open as wide as a barn door with a completely undocumented backdoor. Nov 27, 2006 · hi , it is not possible to configure the WAG200G as a wireless repeater , since it is by default an Access Point .not a reciever , just a transmitter.if you are looking to extend youe wireless signals.go in for a WAP (wireless Access point ) and configure it as a repeater.
