I can log into my router and change settings and I can get VPN info from my tech person and work so I just need to know what to do. You don't even need a real dyndns and a static IP if it is just you wanting to connect to your home computer, just have your home computer upload its IP to some public hosting web server every 15 minutes or so and lookup up your IP on this web page when you need to connect to your home computer. @tsn, I was just throwing the sink at it :-). Sounds like to me if it was important to you you would have been paying a little more attention to it in the first place.

Then after another 10 days my account was deleted without notice. It seems to me that Dyndns wants all the free users to move on to another provider, and so I have. I have been using Dyndns since aprox 2011 paid for the upgrade 2014 and now fell on my ass when i saw what they are charging.
